Our efforts to combat hunger and food insecurity have had a tangible impact on the lives of vulnerable communities. By providing essential food supplies and cooked meals, we have offered immediate relief to those in urgent need, while also promoting awareness and education on public health measures. Moving forward, Suprativa remains committed to expanding it's reach, collaborating with partners, and implementing sustainable solutions to address hunger and food insecurity.
Together, we can build a future where every individual has access to nutritious food and the opportunity to thrive.

Supply of Ration Kits

The COVID-19 pandemic had brought unprecedented challenges, particularly for underprivileged communities who struggle to secure basic necessities like food and hygiene items. In response to this crisis, Suprativa reached out to over 727 needy families across Sambalpur and Cuttack districts in Odisha. We provided essential ration and hygiene kits to these families, offering them vital support during these challenging times. These kits included items such as rice, pulses, cooking oil, and hygiene products like hand sanitizers and masks. By addressing both food and hygiene needs, we aimed to empower these families to stay safe and healthy amid the pandemic.

Serving of Cooked Meals

The pandemic-induced lockdowns in 2020 had a devastating impact on vulnerable communities, particularly daily wage laborers, migrant workers, and street vendors. In response to their urgent needs, Suprativa initiated a program to serve cooked meals to those in need. In Cuttack city alone, we distributed 4800 cooked meals to individuals who were struggling to survive during the lockdown period. Alongside providing immediate relief, our volunteers also conducted awareness sessions on proper mask usage, social distancing, and handwashing practices, educating communities on COVID-19 preventive measures. This initiative not only addressed hunger but also promoted public health awareness, empowering individuals to protect themselves and their families.
